Sandgate is celebrating its 50th year in 2009. A 50th Anniversary book will be published and available for the back to Sandgate 50th Anniversary day on Sunday 3rd May 2009.

The book will be a limited edition historical chronology which will include the names of all students enrolled at Sandgate High in the first 50 years as well as photos, anecdotes, local, state and national historical notes. The book is a very high quality coffee table publication (A4 landscape format, 164 pages of contents, hand bound, hard covered and gold foiled and limited print numbered).

Over 100 books have already been sold out of a print run of 600. Books will be allocated on a strictly first come first served basis. There will only be one print run and additional copies will not be able to be purchased at a later date. The original cost of a book was $65.00.  However, we have been successful in receiving funding from the Gambling Community Benefit Fund and have been able to reduce the cost to $50.00.  A refund will be made to those who paid the higher price.
