Accommodation at Ruth Fairfax House [1st, 2nd & 3rd May]

For those of us who live out of town we offer you accommodation at Ruth Fairfax House - built and managed by the QCWA for the parents of country students attending city schools. This accommodation ticks all of our boxes including:

(1) convenient location near Roma Street Station and easy availability of transport relative to the
Airport , Sandgate High and Moora Park Shorncliffe.

(2) availability of a dining room and a conference room;

(3) clean rooms and good tucker; and

(4) reasonable cost, esp if rooms are shared.

See details below and their website at www.qcwa.org.au They have 27 units available and in January had no bookings for Fri, Sat and Sun, the 1st, 2nd and 3rd May. With room sharing we should be able to comfortably sleep as many as 60 people. The usual discounts are available.

We invite you to make your own bookings at the contact numbers below asap. Please indicate that you are with the Foundation Students of Sandgate High group. And also indicate if you are willing to share a unit. Some units have three single beds (lower cost per person). If there is one available you shall be offered a shared unit.

As discussed with you on the phone today the prices of our accommodation is as follows:

$95.00 per night - Studio Unit
$125.00 per night - One Bedroom Unit

All of our units are fully self contained with cups, crockery, microwave, kettle and a sandwich press. All rooms have an ensuite and the same furnishings except for bed arrangements. The difference between our Studio Units and our One Bedroom Units is that our One Bedroom Units have an actual bedroom whereas our Studio Units are more a motel style where everything is in the room you walk into.

We have a dining room where breakfast and dinner is held. The cost of them both is $10.00 per person per meal. Our breakfast is 7 days where our dinner is only Monday to Friday.
